It's not just the tires and shopping carts left in Manny Garnica's backyard that bother him, but the piles of trash that he has to see every day.

Garnica says they've tried calling police, and even taking matters into his own hands when he catches the dumpers redhanded.

So after the complaints reached us, we called Socorro's mayor Trini Lopez.

He says the land is inside the city of El Paso's jurisdiction. But Mayor Lopez says he promises to work with the city of El Paso to get the land cleaned up.
