The Federal Aviation Administration is trying for a second time in three years to stop its managers in Texas from covering up air safety violations.

FAA chief operating officer Hank Krakowski said Thursday he had removed the manager and assistant manager of an air traffic control facility in Dallas-Fort Worth.
