Clarence and Margaret Waterfall were given a million frequent flyer miles after winning a nationwide competition sponsored by Delta Air Lines.

The Waterfalls, of Ogden, Utah, were one of 500 couples or teams who entered a competition earlier this year. The Waterfalls were one of four teams chosen to be sent to four vacation spots around the world, all expenses paid. Each of those teams put up a video and a blog on the Delta Web site about their trips. Visitors to the Web site voted on who was best.

Each time, in "Survivor" fashion, the lowest vote-getters were voted off.

The Waterfalls went to Budapest, Buenos Aires, Copenhagen and Dubai.

Clarence Waterfall said they found out they had won Thursday.

"It's just astounding," he said. "I'm still giggling."

The couple will give some of their miles to family members, and plan on taking a family trip somewhere far away from Utah.
