Trimble Navigation Ltd., which makes navigation systems and software, said Thursday it received an $8.8 million order from the Marine Corps to supply various systems and laser packages for use in its construction activities.
Trimble will provide machine control and survey simulation training software, grade control systems, reference station base kits and other products as well as some training.
The company is expected to complete work by September 2008.
Shares of Trimble fell 46 cents to $29.32 in midday trading.
