A couple who ran out on the woman's teenage children have been found in Montana.

William Anderson, 44, and Jennifer Anderson, 42, were picked up in Forsythe, Mont., on Thursday, authorities said.

Crookston police said William Anderson will be extradited back to Minnesota on a felony terroristic threat warrant. Montana authorities said Jennifer Anderson was released.

Both were wanted for child neglect, a gross misdemeanor.

Montana police received a tip about the parents' location from Crookston authorities, Rosebud County, Mont., Sheriff Randy Allies said.

Crookston police say they learned the couple's whereabouts from Jennifer Anderson's 21-year-old son after he received a letter from his mother.

A criminal complaint in Minnesota says the Andersons fled in September and never returned to their apartment or to her 15-year-old and 17-year-old daughters.

The girls are now in foster care.
