Rescue workers were searching Wednesday for two boys who did not return home from their Nevada County school on Tuesday, sheriff's officials said. Deputies and the California Highway Patrol centered their search in the area around Alta Sierra, located near Grass Valley.
Officials were searching for 9-year-old Andrew Fagan and 10-year-old Colton Salivar.
The boys are students at Alta Sierra Elementary School.
