Hults was with Ben just before his abduction on Jan. 8 and gave police the description of the white pickup truck that eventually led police to the Kirkwood apartment where Ben and Shawn were found a few days later, authorities have said.

Suspect Michael Devlin, 41, faces two counts of kidnapping and one count of armed criminal action. He is jailed in Franklin County.

Hults may have to wait to drive the truck. He turns 16 next month.
