Canon’s HV10 HD camcorder is small and easy to hold, yet capable of capturing 1080i hi-def, widescreen video.
Outdoor action shots were smooth and sharp, but indoor, low-light footage suffered unless I turned on the built in lamp or turned up the room lights.
Included cables connect it to the computer to copy images over, and another set connects the cam to your ordinary or hi-def TV. At just over a pound, the HV10 won’t break your wrist, and several online sellers offering it for under a thousand bucks won’t break your bank account, either.
