More on Holly: Holly Brubach, like many women in her generation, grew up wanting to be a ballerina. She was a cheerleader for her high school football team, and went on to become a writer for the New York Times and Vanity Fair as well as a collections director for fashion house Prada. After numerous hip surgeries, she found herself in an unlikely place — training to be a quarterback! Her good friend Joe Garafolo, who coaches high school and college football players, offered to teach Holly to play, in hopes that she'd regain her physical strength and endurance. He told her to pick her position, and then decided to train her in the same manner he trains all his quarterbacks — physically and mentally. Reaction time is a key skill for all quarterbacks — they must be able to make split second decisions while surveying an active field. So Joe designed some games that hone this ability. How sharp are you? Play the web game, and see if you can beat Holly's time!
