A judge has ruled Florida law does not permit polling place signs saying a vote for disgraced former Congressman Mark Foley will go to a replacement candidate.
A spokesman for that Republican candidate, State Representative Joe Negron, says there will be an appeal. Democrats, who claimed signs would favor Republicans, applauded the ruling.
Foley resigned from Congress last month after being confronted with sexually explicit Internet communications he had with teens who worked on Capitol Hill as pages.
