A magnitude four-point-five earthquake rattled homes east of Washington state's Mount Rainier, but officials say they don't think it's related to volcanic activity.
No injuries or damage has been reported.
Tom Yelin of the University of Washington Seismology Laboratory says the quake struck last night about seven miles east of the mountain's summit.
Residents in several communities reported feeling the earthquake, which was followed by two smaller aftershocks.
A National Park Service Web site says Mount Rainier is an active volcano that last erupted about 150 years ago.
