Fifty-nine-year-old Raymond Vachon ate the Wheat Thin crackers he keeps in his car because he is a diabetic and drank the dew off leaves and his windshield.

Vachon lost control of his car early Tuesday while driving home from his overnight job as a security guard. He was rescued Saturday morning after a man out walking his dog heard his cries for help and called 9-1-1.

Vachon suffered a leg fracture and was weak and dehydrated when he was rescued. He says he tried to make it out on his own but couldn't.
