Huma Zaidi conducts research, field produces and manages the network's political tape library and reports and writes on various political issues. She has covered stories such as the 2004 presidential election, the post-Katrina New Orleans mayoral race, and developments in election reform.
Before joining the network in 2003, she worked as a production and desk assistant for WRC-TV for three years. Zaidi, a Washington native, graduated from George Mason University in 2000. She and her husband reside in Maryland.
