Former President Gerald Ford remained hospitalized Sunday with pneumonia, but the 92-year-old is “doing well,” a spokeswoman said.
Penny Circle, Ford’s executive assistant and chief of staff, said in a statement that his condition was not life threatening. No other medical information would be released, she said.
Ford was admitted to the Eisenhower Medical Center near his desert home on Jan. 14. He was initially expected to be discharged by Thursday, but doctors decided he needed additional treatment.
