Michael E. Ross is a reporter and news editor for MSNBC.com, reporting on trends in politics, culture and race in America. He also edits the Race & Ethnicity section of MSNBC.com. A graduate of the University of Colorado, he was an adjunct professor of journalism at Columbia University, and has worked at The New York Times, the San Jose Mercury News, the San Francisco Chronicle and other news outlets.
