Tom Curry has served as political correspondent for msnbc.com since July 1996, covering congressional and presidential elections from Lake Okoboji, Iowa, to Lake Winnipesaukee, N.H.

He reported on the Senate confirmation hearings for Chief Justice John Roberts and Associate Justice Samuel Alito in 2005 and 2006. He also covered the Senate trial of President Bill Clinton and historic Supreme Court oral arguments and decisions in the Guantanamo detainees and enemy combatants cases.

Before joining msnbc.com, Curry worked as a reporter for Time magazine from 1986 to 1996. Curry graduated from Haverford College in Pennsylvania, where he studied history.
