Following the New York premiere of HBO's new documentary "Paycheck to Paycheck: The Life & Times of Katrina Gilbert" last night, executive producer Maria Shriver, legendary activist Gloria Steinem, and Katrina Gilbert herself talked about the film's impact and took questions from the audience. Film makers spent a full year with Katrina, documenting her daily struggle to provide for herself and her three children while earning minimum wage as a nursing assistant. Audience members asked about politics, caretaking, and what’s needed to keep more women out of poverty in this country. When asked where she saw herself in ten years, Katrina said she sees herself as a happy, stable, college graduate. Attendees included musician Jon Bon Jovi, NBC's Hoda Kotb and CBS's Gayle King. The film was produced by Sheila Nevins and Nancy Abraham in association with The Shriver Report. It airs Monday, March 17 at 9pmEST on HBO.
