A Phoenix judge has overturned Robert Fischer’s murder conviction on the weight of the evidence presented during last year’s trial and dismissed the case against him.
The State plans to appeal the Court’s decision to overturn the verdict.
Fischer, who was convicted of shooting his step son-in-law, Lee Radder, after a night of heavy drinking, could be released from jail as soon as Monday. Lee’s family posted on their Facebook page that they are devastated by this latest development and are still seeking justice for his death.
