NBC News' Brian Williams will anchor an NBC News special, “Sandy’s Fury,” at 10:00 pm ET/9:00 CT. Lester Holt, Harry Smith, Hoda Kotb, Chris Hansen, Andrea Canning, Ron Allen, and others have been hunkering down with families and friends riding out the storm. From the New Jersey shore to the New York coastlines to Connecticut and onward, the special will explore the damage caused up and down the eastern seaboard. NBC News will follow the storm as it moves westward into Pennsylvania and the surrounding areas, and take a look at the electrical grid that is so vulnerable in bad weather.
