Palm Springs, California, is a city rich in design, celebrity, and luxury. It’s a place where glamour and indulgence go hand in hand.

Cliff Lambert was a beloved fixture of Palm Springs. A successful art dealer and wealthy socialite, he filled his home with beautiful works of art, and regularly hosted friends for drinks.
That’s what his close friend Eddie Mullikin assumed must have happened when he stopped by Cliff’s home in December 2008 after Cliff didn’t show up for their plans. He found half-drunk cocktails and smoked cigarettes, and figured Cliff had jetted off somewhere with whoever had been over to the house.
But days turned to months with no sign of Cliff. And when investigators received a bizarre phone call about Cliff’s property being sold, a 10-year saga riddled with conspiracy, cons, and lies began.
