Brewer endorses McSally in AZ-SEN

Former Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer tells NBC News that she is endorsing U.S. Rep. Martha McSally for the U.S. Senate, selecting the congresswoman over former State Sen. Kelli Ward and former Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio ahead of the August 28 primary.

Brewer will be a “special guest” at a fundraiser for McSally’s campaign next Friday, May 18. McSally is slated to attend that private evening event in Glendale with Brewer.

“Martha is an incredible candidate for the Senate who has served your country in the military and in the United State Congress," Brewer told NBC. "She has a record of doing her homework, gets the jobs done and is accessible to the public—she can be trusted!”
