PORTLAND, Ore. -- Alaska Airlines says computer issues that delayed about 20 flights overnight have been resolved.
Airline spokesman Cole Cosgrove said crews are fixing the problems and systems are returning to normal. No residual delays are expected.
Technical problems with several computer systems, including programs for passenger check-in and for pre-flight departure paperwork, on Wednesday night caused the delays, he said.
There could still be some delays during the early morning hours Thursday, but no flight cancellations are expected, he said.

Computer issues have caused numerous widespread travel problems this year.
Southwest Airlines was hit earlier this month by a software problem that interfered with ticketing and caused lengthy delays on hundreds of flights.
