McNuggets and chicken filet burgers are off the menu in Hong Kong after a Chinese supplier to McDonald's was accused of selling old meat with new expiration dates slapped on the packages. Gone too is green salad, chicken salad, lemon tea and fresh corn cup because they contain ingredients from another factory also run by the same Shanghai Husi Food Co. The Hong Kong government said the supplier's imports would be suspended pending the results of the mainland's investigation and that of local food safety inspectors. No illnesses have been reported in connection with the food scare.
