If you've ever driven through an E-ZPass lane and had a moment of doubt whether the machine actually grabbed your account information correctly, you might be forgiven for opening up a new scam email. "You have not paid for driving on a toll road," reads the email that uses E-ZPass colors and logos to appear legitimate. Motorists are then invited to click a link to download an invoice. If you do, you'll get much more than a bill. The link contains a virus that can steal your passwords and other sensitive information. Consumers are advised to not open the email and delete it instead. State agencies say they wouldn't email you an invoice anyway, they only do that by mail.
