It's not quite an HOV lane, but one funeral home in Michigan has introduced a new addition: a drive-thru casket viewing option.

We have seen drive-thru religious and legal services, and now a drive-thru wake. At the Paradise Funeral Chapel in Saginaw, Michigan, founder and owner Ivan E. Phillips was inspired to install a drive-thru lane for guests when one woman was unable to attend her own husband’s funeral because she could not walk to the home. The new lane was first revealed to the public on Sunday, Earleen Smithers, receptionist at the chapel, said. Guests are allotted three minutes each to view caskets in the lane.
