My work examines the impacts powerful financial players and large corporations have on everyday people and I aim to expose problematic practices and conflicts of interest that are hidden from view. I also simplify complex financial dealings so all readers can understand them. Although I am thrilled to have received an array of journalism awards over my career, the most rewarding aspect of my work is helping readers cut through financial fog and protect themselves and their families.
